A tale of Adventure, Chapter 1

Heroica Stoica Axeica Gatreng IX, the worlds bravest hero, was sitting, a dejected lump, on the side of the road. A ragged knapsack hung from a tree behind him. He had been banished for daring to speak out against Lord Sinister, King of the known world. Gatry was the only person who knew that Sinister was secretly planning to place his son on the throne instead of Paul, the real heir to the throne. The general public believed that the archmage was an upstart who had murdered his brother to claim the title. But who could face such a cruel sorcerer? Who, that is, except Gatry. The hero sighed again. But as he sat, in the pit of despair, nine figures suddenly leaped out in front of him. Trolls! Gatry, startled, pulled out his battle-axe and jumped, doing a flip over the nearest troll. He then proceeded to thoroughly trounce the clumsy monsters, knocking them all out, then tying them together. Gatry was so pleased with his success, he didn't notice three more trolls, who hit him on the head and stuffed him in a sack. "Take him to the master." groaned one, and the others grunted an agreement and began dragging him off.
